Welcome from Steve, Karen & Sabroc Photography


We are Steve Rawlins & Karen Tilling we live in Hertfordshire with our two German Shepherds, Ruby and Obi, and two Bengal cats, Chui and Safi.  We both have full time jobs but enjoy photography as a hobby so have together formed Sabroc Photography to share our experiences with you.

We have been lucky enough to travel to Africa on many occasions, exploring various Wildlife Nature Park & Reserves. As well as pictures from abroad we have also spent a lot of time travelling around the UK, taking advantage of the photographic opportunities provided by the amazing countryside right on our doorsteps.  More recently we have visited a number of private nature reserves and conservation projects in the UK and have been fortunate enough to be allowed to photography some fantastic animals on close quarters! Photography has always been of great interest to us hopefully this comes across in our pictures. 

 

We are in regular contact with artists that wish to use our Photo's for use in their projects and our pictures have also been previously shortlisted in BBC & National Geographic Photography Competitions.



In recent years we have combined our love of animals and photography and our main subject is now within the Canine World. Not just our dogs but also those of friends and at dog shows and events. See the galleries for pictures of holidays with our dogs throughout the UK, you will see Ruby loves to poses and appears quite frequently!

On the rare occasion that we find spare time, we both carry out regular Charity work for various dog charities and we find this most rewarding. In 2009 we also organised a local dog show Barking Mayhem and we raised nearly £4,000 for canine charities and the show attracted over 1,500 people. Although planned initially as a one-off we have already had Barking Mayhem 2010 and the 2011 show is well into the planning stage!
