We have 3 beautiful German Shepherds:

Ruby is our youngest, she is a Long-Coated Red Sable born in Sept 2007 & has been with us since she was 8 weeks old.

Bracken was Rehomed to us in Feb 2008, she is a Long-Coated Blue/Silver born in Feb 2006. Bracken is mum to Ruby.

Obi came to live with us in Oct 2008, he is approx 4 years old & came as a rescue from Ireland.

enjoying the beach in North Yorks!

All 3 of our crew are very different!

Ruby is just loopy and & quite honestly she loves everything & just likes to enjoy life, it was not until she was around 2 years old that she stayed still long enough for a cuddle!! We've had Ruby from a puppy and she is everything we wanted (and more!)
Ruby puts her full trust in us and as long as its ok with us, it's ok with her! She takes part in a host of different activities including working trials, agilty and she regulary takes part in Walcss GSD Rally Dog show, winning many first places rosette's along the way!

Bracken (Ruby mum) came to us shortly after Ruby did. She is a very laid back girl & loves nothing more than a good old kip on the sofa. Although she used to have a few issues & despite living with Addisons disease, she has grown from strength to strength since coming to live with us & Bracken now loves a good walk and will even now even play with toys! She has always been a protective over her pup Ruby but thankfully her days of barking at strangers in the park are over!! considering what she has been through it's amazing to see the constant smile she gives us. We're very proud of our girl and she has really proved what a fighter she is!

Obi came to us an unknown, he'd spent nearly all his life unwanted in a back yard in Ireland, often tied up. When he joined us, he had never even been in a house before, let alone for a walk on a lead. Despite this he settled in brilliantly and he loves 'his girls'. Him and Ruby are partners in crime when they are out and about and he loves a good adventure - making up for lost time. He'll never be a dog we can take into the show ring but he lives life to the full. We have gained his trust and although he was very nervous of being touch at first, especially his neck and legs, it's now as if he was never 'not here'.
