We have two wonderful German Shepherds in Ruby & Obi. As well as being loving and loyal companions they are frequently giving us the opportunity to practice our Photography!
Ruby came to us as a 8 week old puppy and has been a raving lunatic ever since!! She's a dog that likes to live her life to the full - there's never a quiet moment!
Ruby doesn't have the traditional coat of a German Shepherd, firstly she's a Red Sable in colour and secondly her coat is long. This does therefore mean that she does not conform to 'breed standard' but that has no interest to us, she's a happy and healthy dog which is what counts.
Obi is a rescue dog that came to us from Ireland in October 2008. He had an unfortunate start to life and spent much of this time chained up in a back yard. It took him a little period of time to get used to his new life as previously he had never been in a house or even on a lead for a walk!
Obi loves the great outdoors and there's nothing he'd rather do than have a good sniff or chase a little rabbit, when he's not doing either of these he's normally found curled up in his bed which he absolutely loves.
